Liz is creator, facilitator and mover at Wild Embodiment, a healing portal on the coast of Maine offering classes, workshops and 1:1 healing sessions. Wild Embodiment’s sessions blend the arts of dance, movement, yoga, ritual, astrology, earth medicine, psychology, meditation, and sacred activism to create a powerful journey to self-discovery. Liz works to cultivate a conscious relationship to the body and movement as a means of accessing the deep Truth that lies within each one of us.
Liz is currently training to receive her M.A. in Dance/Movement Therapy from Lesley University. She holds a B.A. in Transpersonal Psychology from Prescott University, where she focused her studies on Jungian psychology, eco-psychology and the expressive arts. She is a student of Shunyamurti at the Sat Yoga Institute, and of Grandmother Kaariina, of CoCreavatars. Liz has received her Level I Reiki Attunement and is an experienced Certified Yoga Teacher and Movement facilitator.

Authentic movement is the practice of listening deeply to the voice within; that voice of sensation, of impulse, of feeling, of imagination and allowing it to emerge from our fingers, our toes, our tongues and torsos, opening into the space around us and into the conscious awareness of the witness holding space for us to simply be as we are. In this practice, we simply allow movement to unfold, letting go of judgments and the need to make meaning. There are no steps to follow, no music to guide your feet- just the simple Truth of the moment to open into. Together we create the container for each other’s fullest expressions. Simple. Profound. Real.
No movement or dance experience is necessary. You can’t do it wrong! The movement is entirely self-guided and so is appropriate for any body type and ability.
